Ford and Spira are two artists from two different continents joining together in these times of pandemic to virtually collaborate their artistic vision.
Their first project in September 2020 was a sculpture and poetry union to mark the 2500th anniversary of the battles of Thermopylae and Salamis which took place in 480 BC during the Greco-Persian Wars.

Their second project in June 2021 is entitled The Remains of She which takes place in a dystopian future England and Wales, and concerns the 10th century historical characters Æthelflæd Lady of the Mercians, her husband Lord Æthelred, and their daughter Ælfwynn – the hero of our tale. The Remains of She is a love story which has travelled the centuries to bring about a renewal of nature and humankind.
